The Restore Black America Foundation is an organization that was founded to provide tools to the Black Community to make the necessary changes in order to implement a 100 Year Plan that will address 6 key areas: how to achieve wealth, gain political power, rebuild the community, improve and maintain health, and tap into divine creative spiritual power.

The RBA Foundation will have a strategic focus on building schools for black entrepreneurs, as economics is the nucleus to all the other issues in the community. However we will not stop there, the Foundation will be producing healthy soul food cookbooks, health soul food cooking classes, basic law books, family plan guides, and strategic life plans to assist in the other areas of our society. I wanted to share this message with you today to let you know it is time for the Black Community start playing it smart and safe when it comes to dealing with law enforcement.

If you have been paying attention to what’s going on in the news, you will know that is it open season on us.

The cops can brutalize and/or kill us at will, with no regard for our civil rights or lives, and will receive no punishment.

So we have to start protecting ourselves by moving smarter.

If you find yourself in an encounter with police, do not mouth off to the officer.

Put your emotions and pride aside, and address the officer calmly and respectfully.

The main justification they are using for shooting us is by claiming we were “resisting arrest” and they felt their lives were in danger.

We really have no chances at winning when they tell that to a judge and jury, so we must completely avoid getting ourselves in those kinds of situations where our actions can be misinterpreted.

Full compliance is the name of the game.

If you get stopped in a car, roll down both your front windows, keep your hands in plain view on the steering wheel and announce to officer that you will be reaching for your wallet or going in your glove box to give him your paperwork, then ask: “Is that OK with you”?

Wait for the officer to acknowledge it is OK before you make any further moves.

If he/she does not respond, repeat “My wallet is in my pocket/glove box, is it OK for me to reach for it?” and wait for acknowledgement.

If you are in the street, and an officer approaches you, keep your hands by your side, and ask: “What is the problem officer”?

Again, wait for his reply, then calmly explain your case, if need be.

Do not give him any reason to pull his gun or to feel antsy and shoot you because…

You will be dead.

Your family will lose a loved one.

And the officer will get a paid vacation.

It’s not fair but that’s the way it is.

So because I love you, I felt the need to share this with you.

We can’t do it without you!

If we agree the state of Black America is jacked up…

I don’t know what you consider a good enough reason… but what about the babies?

With the way the world is now, we have no idea what the future holds for our Black children.

This country is on the brink of WWIII. (USA vs North Korea, China, Russia, Iran)

And one incident away from a civil war. (Blacks vs Whites, Democrats vs Republicans, Straights vs Gays, Muslims vs Christians, Trump vs Mainstream Media)

But here’s the sad part.

No matter what jumps off, Black people are in no shape to protect or provide for themselves or their children. As a collective, we are subject to the whims of other people’s decisions.

And that is why I fear for the future of our babies. We are not included at the round table when other groups are discussing policy and making post war contingency plans because we don’t have a seat at that table right now.

So we must do something. And do it fast.

Black Wallets Matter has a 4 part plan.

1 – We unite 1 million brothers and sisters to form a member association. The association is just like an employee union and members get benefits when they pay their membership dues.

2 – We use a percentage of our membership dues to buy businesses and provide jobs for our people. Employed taxpayers are very valuable voters and this gives the association even more power.

3 – We combine our business profits and membership dues to open community resource centers. This will give our children alternatives to running the streets. In these centers they can learn real-world skills like computer programming or welding.

4 – We hire lawyers and lobbyist to gain political power and buy a seat at the bargaining table. We hold politicians accountable for delivering on the promises they make to the Black Community and if they don’t come through for us, they don’t get our votes.

These are real assets and power we can pass down to our children for the future. This is how we build a legacy and save our babies.

Now, do you think doing all this is worth $10, $25, or $50?

Yeah, I think so too!

Black Wallets Matter is a member association compromised of brothers and sisters who are sick and tired of the state of affairs in the Black community and are compelled to take action.

Our underlying principle is the understanding that nothing is going to get fixed in the Black Community unless we start putting our money towards solutions.

Specifically, we are going to invest our money in social and business projects to address the issues of black poverty and unemployment.

And most importantly, we will be allocating money for the purpose of hiring lawyers and lobbyists so we can gain political influence and put an end to this wave of racial police brutality.

OK so lets have some fun with math…

Our goal within the next 3 to 5 years is to have 1 million association members. Our monthly membership dues are $10 for silver, $25 for gold, and $50 for platinum. If we were to get an equal number of members across each level that gives us an avg of $28.

28 multiplied by 1 million, gives us $28 million a month. Multiplied by 12, that gives us $336 million a year. Now of course there will be credit card processing fees, administrative fees and miscellaneous items, so lets just say we have $330 million to work with.

We can use that money to reclaim the businesses in the black community. That means we buy back all the bodegas, corner stores, nail salons, supermarkets and restaurants in our community that are not black owned.

Maybe we let Poppy and them live cause Spanish food is mad good and we don’t really have problems with them, but the Arabs and Asians that look down their noses at us while taking our money gots to go.

I can’t really call it with the Chinese food restaurants…maybe we let them live too…but if the members of Black Wallets Matter say they gotta go…then its off with their heads and some of our brothers and sisters are just gonna have to start stepping their wok game up.

After that shit where the Arabs in the store held the black dude hostage at gun point and whipped him with a sword…even though he stole and I don’t condone it…I was like…this shit is going too far.

They could’ve punched the dude in the face or called the cops. They didn’t have to go in like that. The disrespect toward black people here in America is insanely high right now and we gotta check these suckers before it’s open season on all of us.

We gotta get our shit together and surprise them with clear and decisive action that is going to hit them where it hurts…in their pockets.

And beauty supply shops and nail salons are on notice too. I just don’t like the smug look on their faces when we in their businesses getting our health and beauty care products or services.

I know a young Asian dude whose parents own a beauty supply store and he asked me why the hell are we coming to get our stuff from them and they ain’t even black? He was like they would never dream of some shit like that. Their whole supply chain is Asian.

Well listen…I’m not even worrying about why that is. All I know is we have a plan to change it now.

So if your feeling this idea then definitely consider becoming a member because if you want to see change in our community then remember nothing is going to happen until you make your Black Wallet Matter.

The solution to both of these problems can be summed up in 5 simple words:

“We start handling our business!”

First thing we have to do is understand the true nature of money

Money has its own natural laws. It is magnetically attracted to places where it has the best chances of multiplying.

In the hands of a capable person, it is a tool that is used to gain leverage, acquire and/or increase the value of an asset, or improve the efficiency of an operation that is already making money.

Unfortunately, most of us only use our money to buy stuff that is of little or no value.

So we can’t be mad when other ethic groups use money the right way and open up businesses in our communities or buy up the properties and improve them to move in their own people.

That is the true nature of money. And the proper use of it produces power!

So now that we understand the game, here’s how we play it…

How to get loans to open more black businesses

Before we ask any bank for money or our community for support of our black businesses, we have to realize that we can’t be out there half-assing it.

Banks will only give us loans to create more black businesses if they think they have a reasonable chance of getting a return on that loan.

They will do their due diligence so that means we must have a solid business plan that is based on customer research with realistic revenue projections and some kind of asset to pledge as collateral if things don’t go as planned.

We can’t expect to get a loan for that unproven business idea in our heads, especially if hasn’t been carefully thought out and put down on paper.

And if we do get a loan and get that business up and running, our community will only continue to support it if we run it as efficiently and competitively as other ethnic groups run their businesses.

We cant be charging sky-high prices for the same products and services they can get down the street for less or providing sub-par customer service.

Our people will not stand for it.

I know statistics say there is racial disparity between blacks and whites receiving business loans, but personally, I have rarely seen a black entrepreneur with their “ducks in a row” get denied a business loan.

That means they had a solid business plan, a team with experience in operations, decent credit, and collateral or a co-borrower.

But maybe that’s only banks in New York?

Even still, if banks won’t lend to us based on skin-color, there are always SBA loans and government set-asides specifically for minority businesses.

There really are no excuses.

And if you are a business owner or have aspirations to be one… accepting “no excuses” is the exact mindset you’ll have to adopt if you want to succeed in this game.

How to stop gentrification dead in it’s tracks

If we want to stop gentrification, then we need to take some of the money we spend on consumer products and invest in our own neighborhoods.

Part of that investment should go to reaching out to our youth and providing them alternatives to committing violent crimes.

We need more programs like Wheelchairs Against Guns, which is an organization comprised of individuals who were victims of gun violence, that go around to inner city schools and teach our youth conflict resolution strategies, critical thinking, and building and reinforcing their positive self esteem.

Then we have to invest in cleaning up our streets and taking care of our properties. Cleanliness and curb appeal will boost the value of the properties in our neighborhoods.

And once the value goes up, instead of selling to outside developers, we get home equity loans and use that money to buy another home, building, or business.

This will attract more affluent blacks who can afford to continue investing in the community.

And this is how we stop gentrification and create self sustaining black neighborhoods and grow black wealth.

This is just some food for thought.

As we can see, racism in America is still alive and well. Apparently, to some White citizens and police officers, Black lives DO NOT MATTER. They will kill and brutalize us without regard for our constitutional and human rights. But we can no longer stand by and let this barbarism and racism continue to happen. We have come too far as a people!

So here are a few solutions Black Wallets Matter is proposing to deal with this scourge on our people:

• Solution #1 — We need to hire lawyers and lobbyist to enact laws that make it a federal crime for cops to kill an unarmed black person. Every incident should be investigated by the Dept of Justice and federal prosecutors should handle these cases because whenever these racist cops kill unarmed blacks, they are rarely, if ever get convicted at the state and local levels. This is a common practice within our state court system and I believe with the right lawyers and lobbyist, we can prove this is institutional racism in practice. This is a clear violation of the 14th Amendment of the Constitution, which guarantees us “equal protection under the law”. So we must implore the federal government to step in because it is obvious Blacks are being abused at the state level and are receiving no justice. 

• Solution #2 — In the mean while,  if a racist cop kills another unarmed black man — we can have private investigators thoroughly dig into his background for any and every scrap of dirt they can find and put his ass on blast on social media and the news. Maybe he groped a young girl in high school and they swept it under the rug so he could become an officer. Maybe he’s cheating on his wife or has a gambling or drinking problem? You know most people have skeletons in their closet so we can turn his life inside out and upside down looking for them and expose him to the world.

• Solution #3 — Then we can hit his town, city, and state with lawsuits and thoroughly investigate their policing and judicial practices. If they are found to have been systematically mistreating or violating the rights of Black people in their community, and covering up racist activities, we add that to our “proof file” and then challenge their rights to receive federal funds in the Supreme court. They are violating the constitution and should not have access to government money. People should be fired. Local politicians should be questioned and held accountable. If they stop getting federal money then they’ll have to raise local taxes to pay for services and that’s gonna piss off everybody in that community — especially hard working white people. They will complain and apply pressure to their local politicians. We’d have to keep applying this kind of tactical pressure until those responsible are fired and/or policies are reformed.

The first time we respond to the shooting of an unarmed black man with this type of focused action, law enforcement across the country will understand that those poor black people in their patrol areas have friends in Washington with deep pockets protecting their civil rights. They will think twice about racial profiling or throwing someone down and putting a gun in their face for no reason.  Without question, getting these laws passed will be a long, hard fight, but until then, we must stay vigilant and document every incident of institutional racism to prove our case.
